Discover Mermaid.
The Discover Mermaid Experience is the perfect intro course for any beginner mermaid! This class will introduce how to swim in a tail, mermaid dives, games and safety in a confined water environment.
Timing: 1 hour
Cost: $100/person (cash preferred, or Venmo), including water session, mermaid tail/shark dorsal and monofin rental, and a mermaid treasure. Note that this class is a discover class and will not include a PADI certification. You will also have access to any photos/videos taken by Mermaid Chelsea during your class!
Prerequisites: Minimum age of 6, 25 meter unassisted swim, 3 minute unassisted float.
Basic Mermaid.
Take the next step into deepening your mermaid experience with the Basic Mermaid course! This class includes one confined water class to learn more tricks, dives, safety knowledge and introduces breath-work exercises.
Timing: One half day, or 2-4 hours, with an e-learning element to be completed by you ahead of class.
Cost: $250/person including a nonrefundable $50 deposit (cash preferred, or Venmo) including e-learning, water session and mermaid tail/monofin rental. Students who successfully complete the course will earn their PADI Basic Mermaid Certification. You will also have access to any photos/videos taken by Mermaid Chelsea during your class!
Prerequisites: Minimum age of 8, 25 meter unassisted swim, 3 minute unassisted float.
Mermaid.
The PADI Mermaid course is designed to deepen any mermaid’s skills, tricks, problem solving and safety practices. This course will also include two confined water sessions and a breath hold clinic.
Timing: 2 days, or about 6 hours, with an e-learning element to be completed by you ahead of your first class.
Cost: $350/person including a nonrefundable $50 deposit (cash preferred, or Venmo) including e-learning, water sessions and tail rental. Students who successfully complete the course will earn their PADI Mermaid Certification. You will also have access to any photos/videos taken by Mermaid Chelsea during your class!
Prerequisites: Minimum age of 10, 50 meter unassisted swim, 5 minute unassisted float.
What You Need To Know
All classes are held in/near Savannah, GA!
Please Bring To Class: Mask, snorkel, fins, swimsuit, reef safe sunscreen, water, snacks. For the Mermaid level, please bring weight belt and weights (if you do not have these, please let me know and I can bring them for you!). If you have your own tail and monofin, you may bring those with you!
Please understand that everything we do is outdoors! Depending on weather and water conditions, we may have to reschedule or postpone your class.
All of my classes are “private,” meaning the only students are the ones in your party, keeping scheduling flexible and class sizes small and comfortable!
All e-learning is requested to be done by all students prior to your class.
